OVERALL: This show is EPIC! As far as I am concerned, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko should be treated as story telling gods.

POINTS: The whole darn thing. This show feels EPIC. It is set in “mythic Asia” and you feel like you are watching a great historical saga play out before you. The animation is spectacular too.

PITFALLS: They aren’t making more! Argh. Now I feel for the creators being utterly exhausted so I hope they enjoy their break. And then please make more. Please…

FEMALE CHARACTER(S): Oh Hells yes!!!!! The creators have always wanted to have strong female characters. In LoK they more than succeeded. There is fantastic gender equality in this show especially when it comes to the character numbers! In other words, there aren’t a few women surrounded by men, or a few men surrounded by women, there are equal numbers on all sides of issues and it rocks! Especially season four. Huzzah.

CULTURAL PITFALL(S): I”ll think about that.

HIGH POINT(S): All of is. It is just fantastic. I am so glad I can watch it on DVD so I can get all of it in at once. It is like a great feast.

What is Korrasami? It is the pairing of Korra and Asami as a couple at the end of the series. This means that two women were lovers in a famous animated series and that just makes me happy. This series is such a ground breaker. Squee.

Now some say that there cannot be Korrasami. I like this video that shows it is true – Top 10 Korrasami Moments That Proved It Was Real – Legend of Korra.
