The Legend of Vox Machina
CFR here. It’s time Mildred got a break!! So today I shall talk about The Legend of Vox Machina.
So I’m finishing up my work for an overseas working trip, and I see this show being advertised on Amazon Prime. According to AP I should really like this. Now I’m not always an anime fan, and this looks very animae, but hey why not.
OMG, fun.
First it is like Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) / roleplaying animation story with a dash of steampunk. Second, there are men and women and even BIPOC. Third, OMG, they swear. At least a few times an episode. Plus some excellent sex positivity.
Now as I dive into the Web to learn more of this show I discover that it IS a roleplay campaign that was played by the fabulous voice actors in Critical Role. AND! This show was funded through Kickstarter and quite successfully too! From Kickstarter to Amazon Prime Video: How animation helped Critical Role bring ‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ to life.
Ok, I could go on and on about all of the things I am enjoying but that would be an endless list. It is everything I have wanted in a show from a roleplay campagin. I am thoroughly enjoying The Legend of Vox Machina. If you love some fun fantasy/animation/with a D&D campaign feel, WATCH IT NOW! Or just watch it because fun, fun, fun.
