Welcome to the first Trailer Tuesday!
Black Widow Trailer #3
Today is the first day of Trailer Tuesday. I love trailers so much I think we should have a day about them. What better way to start this new tradition than to showcase the one and only: Black Widow!
YELENA: I tell people my sister moved out west. You’re a science teacher. Your husband he renovates houses. You’re thinking about moving but you’re gonna wait until the interest rates go down.
NATASHA: That’s not my story.
–Black Widow movie
Oh Nat, indeed that is not your story and I am so glad we are finally going to be able to see the real one.
I, like many others, have wanted and waited and wishes for a stand alone Black Widow movie. After all, Scarlett Johansson has the chops to carry a movie, she’s done it before. She has played Black Widow for years and knows the character. I really love this Tumblr: where is my black widow movie? Totally sums up how many of us felt for years. I remember reading a meme with this dialogue:
Teacher: Where is your homework?
Student: Where is my Black Widow movie?
I swear I would have accepted that as a legitimate reason to turn work in late.
And now it is HERE!!! May 1, 2020 marks the release of Black Widow. I am STOKED! So here it is for our viewing pleasure, the third big trailer for our Black Widow movie. HOORAY!!!
BLACK WIDOW Trailer #3 | NEW (2020) Scarlett Johansson Marvel Movie HD
I am so happy!!!!!!! Enjoy!
P.S. Time for a Hawkeye movie too! Although he is getting his own show on Disney+ – hopefully. Years ago on the set of Age of Ultron, I told Joss Whedon we needed a “Budapest” movie. He said he knew that was wanted. Oh Joss, oh Marvel, oh PLEASE! We fans want that too. Or put that in the Hawkeye TV show….
P.P.S. “Budapest” movie refers to the dialogue between Black Widow and Hawkeye in the first Avengers movie. During the final battle Nat (Black Widow) says to Clint (Hawkeye) “Just like Budapest all over again.” He replies “You and I remember Budapest very differently.”
Love it.
