Joss Whedon is one of my big damn heroes. I first fell in love with his story telling watching the first five minutes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After that I pretty much loved and enjoyed everything else he did. He is unashamedly for the equality of men and women and doesn’t fear using the word “feminist” in his speech or story telling. He can make a TV series shape a generation and make a movie about a group of superheroes rock the world. Then make the world beg you to write and direct the sequel. (Thanks, BTW.) Plus, thanks to his generosity to the Downtown Women’s Center in LA, I got to visit him on the set of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.
