OVERALL:   Oh Hells yes. Perfect. Watch this movie. You will find it very satisfying.

POINTS:  This movie takes the woman victim trope and turns it on its head. Almost every trope you can think of in a woman victim movie is twisted around. It is refreshing to not know what is going to happen. And the ending is very triumphant. 🙂 Huzzah! 

PITFALLS:   Nope. Couldn’t find any.

FEMALE CHARACTER(S):    Oh yeah!!! They are good and fun! So are the men. The characters seem to work on several levels – which is actually how real people work too. Very satisfying.

CULTURAL PITFALL(S):    Well it would have enjoyed more ethnic diversity in the movie.

HIGH POINT(S):    Amanda Seyfried. I am a fan. She has lots of talent and sass and fun. I enjoy watching her and hope to see her in more and more roles for the rest of my life. She is a gem and in this movie gets to show a lot of grit. Go Amanda go!

DVD/BLU-RAY WORTHY:   Yes. In fact that is how I saw it. Hubby really likes this movie too and we are going to watch it again. And probably agan.
