The Good Place

OVERALL: Mother forker* this is a good show.

POINTS: It is funny on many levels. I do enjoy good spiritual humor and this show is loaded with it. Plus just general life funny. It is also outrageous and the characters are funny within themselves. Just watch.

PITFALLS: Not enough new episodes. In short, I’ll just have to be patient. Drat! Oh and it could so be an hour long!!!!

FEMALE CHARACTER(S): Oh yeah. Kristen Bell plays Eleanor Shellstrop. (I know, the name alone makes you giggle.) She is funny, smart, and self-aware. She is aware enough to figure out her situation. So cool. There is also Jameela Jamil as Tahani Al-Jamil and D’Arcy Carden as Janet. All of the women on this show are again, fully realized characters in their own right. It is very good. 

CULTURAL PITFALL(S): Wow. None yet. Good job.

HIGH POINT(S): Watching a multi-cultural cast with cool women deliver humor in an existential environment. Yes I wrote that and I stand behind it. Oh just watch and laugh.

Plus the acting is superlative so you can enjoy it for that alone. 🙂
