Wonder Woman
OVERALL: My heart is filled with joy. I just saw Wonder Woman and I loved it so.
POINTS: I saw a review quoted that said watching this movie was like watching Christopher Reeves in Superman again. I felt like I was watching Chris Evans in Captain America. I saw a wonderful, period movie, with a GOOD hero and it was wonderful.
First, hats-off to director Patty Jenkins. She took the project under her command and fought for what she believed this movie should be – a character driven story. She was so right. Even the fight scenes told a story – reminiscent of the last battle in The Avengers.
Also the movie was beautiful! Gorgeous colors and textures, beautiful shadows and depths. Hubby mentioned that to me as well.
PITFALLS: Nope. Ok, I want to see it again but I gotta go to bed.
FEMALE CHARACTER(S): People, this is Wonder Woman. So of course we are going to have cool women. Only this time they really take center stage in the beginning with the Amazons, and Etta Candy is very enjoyable. Diana through most of the movie is surrounded by men and that works just fine. Well done!!!
CULTURAL PITFALL(S): I’ll let you know.
HIGH POINT(S): So many! Here are a few:
1.) Patty Jenkins – Director. Oh Hells YES! A woman took the reins of a big comic book action movie and rocked it! Well done madam, well done!
2.) Gal Gadot – Diana, Wonder Woman. She was perfect. She gracefully and easily carried the movie. When I first saw her picture I thought she was too skinny. I was wrong. She embodies the character. I look forward to seeing her play Wonder Woman for a long, long, time.
3.) Chris Pine – Steve Trevor. I have read that Chris enjoyed playing “the guy.” The character the lead falls in love with. He was also heroic, smart, and perfect for Diana and playing opposite Gal Gadot. Well done, sir!! A better Steve could not have been chosen.
4.) Entire Cast. Everyone was perfect for their roles. Hats off to them all!
5.) Entire Crew. You made a beautiful, wonderful, entertaining movie. Well done!!!

Mildred: In Addition: This movie is great fun, with an absolutely perfect actress for the part. My only quibble is that it’s a tad too long. How wonderful is it that the first really great movie the DC side has put out is a woman-directed, Wonder Woman film? Love it.
Chick Flicking Reviews 
WOW! I took my Children to see WONDER WOMAN and was going to also purchase the WONDER WOMAN Doll’s for them, untill we discovered that we wasn’t going to see Wonder Woman Change. Huge Disappointment, not only for the children, but myself as well. Having been a young Lady myself when Lynda Carter hit our living room television screens, back in the late 1970’s, I must admit, I was very excited to see Diana Prince change into Wonder Woman with our updated computer effects technology.
Such a waist! So instead of buying the Wonder Woman Dolls for the Children, to my surprise, after giving them the choice, they decided on the 3 seasons of Wonder Woman by Lynda Carter on DVD because they had heard me tell them stories about Wonder Woman Spinning but had never seen, for themselves. We started watching 1 episode a day and to spite the 70s clothes, they are very much enjoying and entertained!
I am all about a SUPERHERO EVOLVING in OBVIOUS ways, from 1970’s clothes, adding a SWORD and SHIELD and a really cool Golden Lasso of Truth and FORGET, which they seem to have left out. When explained what it is and does; that it can also make you forget,_ Updates to the COSTUME, BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS !!!
The Tiara has multiple purposes, one of which can be, flattened and used as a boomerang weapon, and the red ruby should not have been taken out of the front of the tiara, as Wonder woman can sit in front of a mirror and rub the red ruby with her finger and her MOTHER/QUEEN will appear in the mirror in front of her, for a like, webcam conversation; still way cooler than webcam, because she’s in a mirror.
Secondly, Wonder Woman NEVER KILLED_ A _ SINGLE _ PERSON,_ Before THIS_ MOVIE !
As I am a BIG-TIME FAN of Wonder Woman, I must admit this is the WORST movie I have ever seen!
THIS_ PARTICULAR_ SUPERHERO !
So very UNIQUE_ by her_ LEGENDARY TRANSFORMATION,_ SPINNING/TURNING_ from Diana Prince into Wonder Woman; Was _TOTALLY_ Defecated ON_ and CHEAPENED_ in THIS movie!
You see some pretty cool computer graphics, One of witch, an enemy, Wonder Woman is fighting in the WAR.
HIS COSTUME comes to him automatically, from WITHIN the FIRE, giving him several horns on his head and face, but not_even_ ONE_ LEGENDARY-TRANSFORMATION-WONDER WOMAN-SPIN_ for Diana Prince/Wonder Woman!
“Diana Prince’s SECRET IDENTITY”….
NOT SECRET ANYMORE!
Steve Trevor, KNOWS WHO and WHAT SHE IS, and WHERE SHE comes from, and doesn’t even refer to her as Wonder Woman, ONLY referring to her as Diana Prince !!!
They couldn’t have done a worse job if they were_ trying/wanting_ to KILL and END__ the_ SUPERHERO – Wonder Woman !!!
Expecting to see a GUEST APPEARANCE in this movie by Linda Carter?
Didn’t happen, and I CAN’T say that I BLAME Lynda Carter for NOT appearing in this, absolutely, AWFUL MOVIE !
LITERALLY, SO_ BAD, I even considered asking for a REFUND !!!
Save your money from this movie and use it to purchase_ ONE__ of the_ THREE SEASONS of Wonder Woman or The New Adventures of Wonder Woman by Lynda Carter on DVD,
Available in your local retail store or many ON-LINE store’s.

I have been waiting, years to see how Wonder woman has evolved.
But no invisible plane, no spinning change into wonder woman, and Steve Trevor leaves Paradise Island with Diana Prince in a BOAT?!
AND WHAT IS UP WITH THAT BLACK CLOAK AND SWORD???
When you have a golden lasso of TRUTH and/Mind-Wipe/FORGET, why does she have to take a life when she can make him FORGET?
