He Never Died
OVERALL: Well huh. I liked it. It was different. Very different. See it and let me know what you thought. I would watch it again. In fact, I’ve watched it three times.
POINTS: The plot certainly kept you intrigued. I loved the “reveal” in the end but it wasn’t enough. The actors were all good and it felt gritty and real. Henry Rollins is charismatic and fun to watch. The rest of the cast kept up with him too.
PITFALLS: Reveal. I for one needed more explanation. Then again I am a woman who LOVES exposition.
FEMALE CHARACTER(S): I thought both characters, daughter Andrea (Jordan Todosey) and waitress Cara (Kate Greenhouse) were interesting. I especially liked Cara because she did things that her character trope doesn’t do. In short, she had depth. Cool.
CULTURAL PITFALL(S): Well huh.
HIGH POINT(S): Henry Rollins as his character Jack listing all of his jobs. LOL!
