NOTE: This movie came on the TV thanks to Hubby who likes to watch new movies. It was intriguing so here comes the review. Also the TiVo calls this movie “Cruel and Unusual” but IMDB calls it “Watchtower”.

OVERALL: Interesting character studies and BIG twists at the end.

POINTS: Well made movie. Good acting, directing, scenery. Everything was believable and again, wow, BIG twists, at the end. Also the twists at the beginning and middle were quite fun too.

PITFALLS: Hmmm…. Well, hmm….. Ok, When I think of some I’ll add them.

FEMALE CHARACTER(S): Our main heroine, Kate played by Rachel Hayward, is quite interesting. I enjoyed watching her in the show.

CULTURAL PITFALL(S): Boys getting angry about girls having sex. Really. Everybody get over it.

HIGH POINT(S): Good acting by all. AND plot twists

BECHDEL TEST (Website): 1 of 3. I couldn’t find it on the Bechdel Website but since there are two named female characters but they do not interact. w
