Andor Season 2 Trailer

Oh. My. God. OH MY GOD!

Ok, I resisted watching the series Andor because well, I just didn’t think I would like it. I was so wrong.

Hubby and I needed something to watch for the weekend and we thought why not. After the first episode I was hooked. So was he. I kept watching the magnificent show and saying “This. This is how you create a revolution.” I loved it. Watch it if you haven’t.

One big thing for me is that I love the character Mon Mothma. See, I’m an original Star Wars fan and read the move tie-in novels when the movies were released. So in the book for Return of the Jedi I knew that the leader of the rebellion, the one who kept it alive, who worked behind the scenes was Mon Mothma. Yes she had only one line in the movie, but she was the leader. Cool I was so happy about this.

Note that had I been allowed to participate in the Star Wars trivia contest in my town’s local mall, I would have helped my team win. The last question was “Who is the leader of the Rebellion?” My friends told me as they sadly reported they had lost. Had I been there…….

So yes, back to Andor.

I was very happy when I read that there would be a season 2. When I saw there was a new trailer I immediately went to YouTube to watch it. I was not disappointed.

I love that in Andor they talk about revolution and rebellion and the characters mean it in their gut. You feel the gravity of the impending facism and growing rebellion. You can feel the terror and loneliness of the characters. And you can see, you KNOW why the characters are pushed to rebellion. It isn’t fun. It is ne cessary.

Freaking amazing show!

The season 2 trailer rose to the occasion and is worthy of season one.

The song The Revolution Starts Now, pulses throughout the trailer as we see the backs of characters walking to the beat of the music. Perfect. Absolutely perfect lyrics because yes, the rebellion has begun. Our hero, Cassian Andor, is IN. This trailer tells you exactly what to expect of season 2. More planning, plotting, fighting, and characters desperately doing the right thing. The villains? They don’t care one bit who they hurt.

This trailer pulls you in. You want to see where the characters are going, you want to know who they are! So of course the end shot rewards us. We see Andor turn and look past the camera. Perfect. I’m rooting for the rebellion.

I do remember shouting “Yes!”

I hope the person who decided to use this song is richly rewarded. Genius movie. I cannot wait for this show. April 22nd, you need to get here sooner.

Ann Wilson from Heart!!

I listened to Heart for many years and seen them twice in concert. What an amazing, groundbreaking band. Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson gave the world Heart and helped pave the way for other women rockers. Ann Wilson’s voice is a miracle. She has powerhouse vocals and it never looks like she has to work to get her sound and volume. Nancy Wilson plays guitar like a fiend! Huzzah to Heart!

As I was searching for the song that runs through the amazing Andor 2 trailer I found Ann Wilson singing the song in the trailer. I had to watch and share with you. I was so pleased to see it.
