I don’t watch the Superbowl. I do like reading about who won and watching all of the replays and media posts about it. I also love to watch the half time show online! For Super Bowl LIX, I really enjoyed watching Kendrick Lamar.
Now I am not familiar with Kendrick Lamar’s work. I have positive feelings towards him as he collaborated with Taylor Swift on “Bad Blood” and I am a total Swiftie. Also my body worker LOVES Lamar so of course that contributes to the positive feelings. (I so need to talk to my body worker about the halftime show!) Naturally I looked forward to watching it on Monday morning.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show! I mean it began with one of my favorite actors Samuel L. Jackson dressed as Uncle Sam! SQUEE!!! Then later on, Serena Williams, the GOAT of tennis, was dancing! I loved the dancing, staging, theatricality, and performance power of Kendrick Lamar. No, I don’t fully know or understand his music. I’m thinking it is time to buy.
