The Man in the High Castle

OVERALL: Oh this is good. A fabulous spy thriller/war story. And scary. It absolutely scares me. You bet I’m going to keep watching.

POINTS: Excellent production values. And the whole story premise. If that doesn’t freak you out, what will? It is very believable too.

PITFALLS: Uh, I’ll let you know. Oh wait: The Nazis and the Japanese won. Gulp.

FEMALE CHARACTER(S): We mostly focus on Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos) however there are many other minor female characters that appear and work together. I’m looking forward to watching the whole thing.

CULTURAL PITFALL(S): Well Nazis has a lot of issues and we get to see them here. Oh joy.

HIGH POINT(S): This show terrifies me. It’s scarier than The Woman in Black. *gulp* I gotta know what happens so I must keep watching.

BECHDEL TEST (Website): 3 of 3. Well done!

RACIAL BECHDEL TEST (Website): 3 of 3. The Japanese characters make this happen. And it is interesting to see their concern about holding the west coast of America.
